Texas native David Smith understands that buying or selling a home is one of the most significant life decisions. That’s why his goal for every transaction is to earn his client’s trust by exceeding expectations from beginning to end. It all starts with building meaningful connections: He listens diligently, seeks to understand clients’ goals, and provides customized advice and thorough guidance in an approachable way. With a strong work ethic, David consistently facilitates outstanding real estate experiences.
David is passionate about making positive differences in the lives of his clients — be they families, first-time homebuyers, or high-net-worth individuals. His fierce motivation shows in the numbers: After earning his real estate license in 2004, he quickly became a top-producing agent, generating $4 million in his first year. Following that, David retained his status as a top 10% producing agent at his previous brokerage from 2005 to 2007 and from 2013 to the present. In 2017, he was featured on KKHT-FM’s Real Estate Rat Pack and in the September issue of Real Producers Magazine as one of Houston’s most inspiring Realtors®. Throughout these smashing successes in numerous market conditions, David’s staunch protection of his client’s best interests has remained constant.
Always set on professional growth, David has earned several industry designations, including his Texas Real Estate Brokers License. He is also a Certified Home Selling Advisor, Certified Home Buyer Advisor, and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative. He is a member of the National Association of Expert Advisors. He is e-PRO® with Negotiation Specialist and Investment Property Specialist certifications, as well as a proven certified Real Estate Negotiator. In addition to his real estate license, he is a licensed broker and mortgage, loan officer. It’s these extra improvement efforts that set David apart.
In his personal time, David is always on the lookout for his next exciting property investment, be it an income property or a flip. He is passionate about giving back to his community and supports Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Wounded Warrior Project, Citizens for Animal Protection, and the Buffalo Bayou Partnership. David enjoys spending time outdoors doing just about any high-energy activity. Still, ultimately, his greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Martha, and their two daughters, Kynnison and Kashtyn.
